In August 2025, I sat across from a dear friend, supporter, and trusted adviser, Dia Baxter, an accomplished college administrator and instructor with expertise in English Communications, Behavioral Science, and ESL. Beyond the classroom, Dia has built a distinguished career in grant writing and teaching, bringing creativity and strategic insight to every challenge she faces.
We met at Doro Marketplace in Wethersfield, CT, where I sought her independent guidance on strengthening the strategy and growth of my small business, Nazario Motivation, LLC.
My connection with Dia began several years earlier in a UCONN certificate course on nonprofit management, where I had been invited to present on the challenges leaders face. Afterward, she approached me in the hallway—not just with encouragement, but with real solutions. At the time, COVID-19 had heavily impacted The Peace Center of Connecticut, Inc., the nonprofit I lead. Dia immediately shared resources, tools, and ideas to help us navigate those turbulent times.
Fast forward to our recent meeting, and once again Dia’s expertise was on full display. From the very beginning of our conversation, she offered honest, objective feedback—spotlighting areas I had overlooked and suggesting new directions outside of my initial vision.
One particular point stood out. She paused, looked me directly in the eyes, and said:
“Iran, your logo and tagline do not match. I see balance in your logo. But your tagline has nothing to do with balance.”
I sat there quietly, letting the words sink in. She was right.
Later, as I reflected on her insight, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. It sparked a new mission: to create a tagline that truly aligns with who we are and what we offer at Nazario Motivation.
That journey has brought us here:
Nazario Motivation — Restoring Balance, Moving Toward Breakthroughs.
Our commitment is to ensure every client reaches their fullest potential—individually and collectively.
So, there it is: our new tagline.
Let us bring balance and breakthroughs to your journey.
In Peace,
Iran Nazario
