A recognized expert in Gang Prevention and Mediation, Iran has demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing staff and programs, pioneering the inclusion of formerly incarcerated individuals as valuable community resources. His establishment, development, and oversight of numerous violence reduction programs continue to make a lasting impact.

Iran's expertise extends to training and presenting for various youth service agencies, court support services, schools, and other organizations on both local and national levels. As a motivational speaker, consultant, and adept trainer, he specializes in community crisis response, violence intervention, and youth and community engagement. Actively involved in initiatives promoting social justice and racial equity, Iran serves on the Wethersfield, CT Social Justice Steering Committee and the CT Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POST). As the Founder and CEO of The Peace Center of Connecticut, Iran oversees operations and programs dedicated to Youth and Adult Leadership Development, Community Engagement and Support, Community Awareness, Consulting, and Resource Sharing, serving as a beacon of hope for Hartford and communities across New England.
